Located at La Nebbia Winery, Half Moon Bay Art Glass (formerly known as Colquhoun Glass Works) is a San Francisco Bay Area-based glass studio that specializes in blown and sculpted forms of nature.
Owner and well-known glass artist, Douglass C. Brown, uses his wide repertoire of skills to breathe beautiful and imaginative art pieces into existence. He encourages collaborations with guest artists to join him in his studio. Highly regarded for his ability to create forms that truly duplicate nature, Brown's current collection features exquisite blown glass fruits and vegetables, as well as sea life.
He also utilizes mixed media techniques such as blending copper stems with glass petals to create everlasting Lady Slipper orchids and other exotic flowers.
Half Moon Bay Art Glass offers glass sculpting classes to novice and more experienced glass artists of all ages.
